Bill Finger
Bill Finger (8 de febrero de 1914 - 24 de enero de 1974). Escritor estadounidense, famoso por ayudar a la creación de Batman junto a Bob Kane. Finger y Kane empezaron a trabajar juntos en 1938. En 1939, el éxito de Superman en Action Comics impulsó a los editores en la división de historietas de National Publications (después DC Comics, ahora una subsidiaria de Time Warner) a pedir más superhéroes para sus títulos. En respuesta, Bob Kane creó un personaje llamado "Birdman" ("El Hombre Pájaro"). Su colaborador Bill Finger le sugirió algunas ideas, como renombrar al personaje "Batman", y cambiar su antifaz por una capucha, darle una capa en lugar de alas, guantes y retirar las secciones rojas y brillantes del traje. Finger escribió la primera historia para Batman mientras que Kane proporcionaba el arte. Debido a que Kane ya había propuesto la creación de un personaje llamado Batman a los editores de DC Comics, solo Kane recibió crédito oficial por la creación de Batman en ese tiempo.
